Field service capability — getting a tech and the right parts to the machine in the field, fast — is what a customer remembers. The shop triages hard by cost-of-wait, parts checks the network before expediting, and everyone understands that in-season, the down machine wins.

The one that treats readiness as something to sort out when the calls start is the one whose customers spend a harvest day waiting. This is the payoff of the crop calendar driving everything.
